Honor V9 Play with 5.2-inch HD display launched in China

Huawei’s Honor brand has just announced its latest smartphone in China called Honor V9 Play (JMM-AL00). It has uni-body metal design and comes with Fingerprint sensor at the back (unlocks in 0.4 seconds).
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots, both Nano of which one doubles up for MicroSD card.
The cell phone measures 147.9 x 73.2 x 7.65 mm and weighs 145 grams. It has 3000 mAh (typical) / 2900 mAh (minimum) battery that powers the hardware. It fully charges up in about 3 hours and offers up to 15 days of standby.
The Honor V9 Play specs include 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5D aluminium silicon Glass 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 65% NTSC color gamut, 282ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch.
Honor V9 Play image 1Internal hardware makes up of an octa-core (1.5GHz A53 x 4 + 1GHz A53 x 4) MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU (700MHz). It has 3GB / 4GB RAM options with 32GB internal memory (eMMC 5.1). It allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
It has 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture for selfies. On the back side is 13MP primary shooter with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12 micron pixels, 5P lens, PDAF and 1080p video recording.
Connectivity wise, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1 LE, GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Honor V9 Play price starts at 999 Yuan (US$ 152 / Rs. 9,850 approx.) for 3GB RAM variant and 1199 Yuan (US$ 185 / Rs. 11,800 approx.) for 4GB RAM model. The handset comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Red and Blue colors. It is up for order in China and will go on sale form September 12, 2017.
