Honor Vera30 with Kirin 990 5G SoC launching soon.

Huawei recently announced its latest SoC called Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G. These chipsets are expected to power its upcoming Mate 30 Series.

Now, Huawei’s Honor brand has starting teasing a new smartphone with name Vera30‘ (V30). The teaser also confirms that it will be powered by new Kirin 990 5G SoC.

Possibly, this is successor to Honor V20 but with a new name which is Honor Vera30. At the moment, there is no information available on the handset.

What we know is that Kirin 990 5G SoC is an octa-core chipset with 2.86GHz ARM Cortex-A76 x 2 + 2.36GHz ARM Cortex-A76 x 2 + 1.95GHz ARM Cortex-A55 x 4 Octa-cores and is based on TSMC’s 7FF+ with EUV process. It has built-in 5G modem (supports Sub-6GHz 5G SA neworks SA/NSA architecture). The SoC also includes Mali-G76 16-core GPU.
