Honor View 20 unveiled for global markets, roll out starts Jan 23

Huawei’s Honor brand at an event in Paris has officially unveiled Honor View 20 smartphone for global markets. It has metal frame and glass back with V shaped texture.
The phone comes with Dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.0. The phone measures 156.9 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm and has weight of 180 grams.
The Honor View 20 specs include 6.4-inch multi-touch LCD IPS display with 2310 x 1080 pixels resolution, 96% NTSC color gamut and an impressive 91.82% screen-to-body ratio.
There is a 4.5mm round cut at top left corner of the screen which houses 25MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. Apart from rear facing fingerprint sensor, there are two rear facing cameras. They include 48MP main shooter with AIS, F/1.8 aperture, 1/2-type Sony IMX586 sensor (8.0mm diagonal) which uses 4-in-1 light fusion for enhanced low light images at 12MP resolution. There is a secondary TOF 3D camera as well which lets you play games using 3D gesture recognition.
Under the hood, the Honor View20 features in octa-core Kirin 980 (2.6GHz A76 x 2 + 1.92GHz A76 x 2 + 1.8GHz A55 x 4) processor with Mali-G76MP10 (720MHz) GPU. The smartphone comes in 6GB / 8GB RAM options with 128GB storage.  There is a 8GB LPDDR4X RAM variant with 256G G of storage as well.
The hardware gets energy from 4000mAh (typical) / 3900mAh (minimum) battery which supports 22.5W (4.5V/5A) fast charging. Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), USB Type-C and NFC.
The Honor View20 price starts at €569 (US$ 646 / ₹46,070 approx.) / £499 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It comes in Sapphire Blue and Midnight black colors.
The Honor View 20 MOSCHINO Edition with 8GB RAM / 256 GB storage costs €649 (US$ 737 / ₹52,550 approx.) / £579. and comes in Phantom Red and Phantom Blue colors.
The View20 smartphone will start rolling out in 18 countries from January 23rd. It will also land in India at Amazon.in on January 29th.
