HONOR Vision 55-inch 4K HDR TV announced with HarmonyOS, Pop-up camera with AI

Huawei’s Honor brand has introduced its latest Vision TV and Vision TV Pro. These are company’s first smart TV which the company unveiled at Huawei Developer’s Conference (HDC) 2019.

Both of them basically as the same features with VISION TV featuring 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and four 10W speakers. The VISION TV Pro features in 2GB RAM with 32GB ROM and six 10W speakers. Both of them have Huawei Histen Audio.

The Honor Vision TV features in 55-inch display with 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K resolution and has 178-degree viewing angles. The screen delivers 87% NTSC color gamut and 400nits brightness.

At its thinnest part, the Vision TV is just 6.9mm thick and sports 3D arc full metal frame with diamond texture on the back and breathing light at the front.

It does come with Bluetooth remote and allows users to use phone as remote as well. There is a built-in pop-up AI camera in VISION Tv Pro model which intelligently tracks face, position, posture when need. It allows one to take 1080p video calls.

The Honor Vision TV specs include quad-core (A73 x 2 + A53 x 2) HONGHU 818 processor (28nm) with Mali-G51 MP4 (600MHz) GPU. It runs on HarmonyOS 1.0 and supports H.265 4K at 60/30fps, H.265 1080p at 60fps and H.263 1080p at 30fps.

In terms of connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 with HiSilicon Hi1103 (1.7Gbps DL), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, three HDMI 2.0 (1 x HDMI ARC), USB 3.0, AV, DTMB, S/PDIF and Ethernet port.

The Honor VISION TV price is 3799 Yuan (US$ 537 / Rs. 38,200 approx.) while the VISION TV Pro costs is Rs. 4799 Yuan (US$ 679 / Rs. 48,270 approx.). It will go on sale in China from August 15th.
