HP Elite X3 price will start at $699, will be available by late July

HP Elite X3, a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, is closing in on its launch. It was revealed earlier this February at MWC 2016. Now HP has shared information regarding the phones pricing and availability.
Moreover, it coms with array of optional accessories like Desk Dock and Mobile Extender. The phone also takes advantage of Windows 10 Continuum feature.
The Specifications of HP Elite X3 include 5.96-Inch AMOLED multi-touch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Its screen has anti-reflective coating and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood is 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
The smartphone has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB storage ROM and microSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 2TB. It has Iris scanner, Fingerprint sensor and features 16MP main snapper on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, LED flash and Auto Focus. There is an 8MP selfie snapper as well.
The Elite X3 is IP67 rated for dust / water resistance and also comes with MIL-STD-810 ration for protection against drops from 1 meter. The phone has dimensions of 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. It houses 4150 mAh non removable Li-Ion polymer battery with quick charging capabilities.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2 x 2), Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0 LE, USB 3.0 Type-C, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The HP Elite X3 will be priced at $699 and will be available in US by late July. The headset and desk dock bundle is expected to be priced at $799. The European regions will get the phone for €699, the headset desk dock bundle will sell for €729  while the Elite X3, Desk Dock and Lap Dock combo will cost €1199. HP also revealed that the handset will be available in more than 47 countries in coming weeks.
