HTC 10 Evo with 5.5-inch QuadHD display, Snapdragon 810, Android 7.0 OS launched

HTC has just announced HTC 10 Evo, global version of recently announced HTC Bolt.
It has all metal body with IP57 rating making it dust and water resistant. It supports HTC BoomSound adaptive audio and Hi-Res audio that delivers 24-bit audio. There is no 3.5mm audio jack though.
The smartphone measures 153.6 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 174 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with HTC Sense UI. The phone has single Nano SIM slot and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The HTC 10 Evo specs include 5.5-Inch Super LCD 3 display that delivers 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well.
The cell phone gets processing power from 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and comes in 32GB and 64GB storage options and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
htc-10-evo-image-01The HTC 10 Evo features a 16MP main camera on the back with dual-LED flash, F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF, OIS, Auto HDR and records 4K videos and 720p slow motion videos. On the front side is 8MP selfie camera with F/2.4 aperture and ultra wide angle lens as well.
The phone houses fingerprint sensor, which is embedded on home button. Inside is 3200 mAh battery that supports quick Charge 2.0 fast charging. The handset has start gesture support like HTC Ice View induction translucent protective shell, track activity sensor etc.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C etc.
The HTC 10 Evo is priced at NT$ 17,990 (US$ 564) for 32GB variant and NT$ 19,900 (US$ 626) for 64GB storage model. It comes in Silver, Gold and Gumetal color options. The smartphone is already up for pre-order in Taiwan and will go on sale from November 28th, 2016.
