HTC Bolt launched at Sprint Networks, priced at $600

HTC has finally launched its metal body smartphone in United States called HTC Bolt. It is also world’s first mobile to have USB Type-C dual adaptive earphones. The handset will be available at Sprint.
The phone measures 6.06 x 3.04 x .32 inches and weighs about 6.14oz. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with HTC Sense UI. It has fingerprint sensor (unlocks in 0.2 seconds) and comes with 3x20MHz carrier aggregation of X10 modem. The body has IP57 rating making it dust and water resistant, while its carved out of aluminium.
The HTC Bolt Specs include 5.5-Inch Super LCD3 display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It has 534ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (with curved edges) for scratch resistance. Under the hood is 2GHz octa-core 64-Bit Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU.
htc-bolt-image-02Inside is 3GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage ROM and allows further expansion upt o 2TB using MicroSD card. It has single Nano SIM slot and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. The handset supports HTC BoomSound, Hi-Res audio (with stereo recording) and houses Three microphones for noise cancellation.
The HTC Bolt Features in 8MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture, 29mm focal length, Auto HDR, Selfie Panorama and records 1080p videos as well. On the back side is 16MP main camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 28mm focal length, Glass Lens, PDAF, Panorama, Hyperlapse, OIS, Slow motion (720p @ 120fps) and 4K recording capabilities.
The phone is equipped with 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. It has special power saving and extreme power saving modes as well. The mobile also supports motion launch, flip to mute, pocket mode, sensor hub for activity tracking and Ice View cases as well.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, Miracast, DLNA, Airplay, USB 2.0 Type-C, GPS + GLANOSS etc. It also includes array of sensors like Ambient light, proximity, motion, Gyro, Magnetic and Compass.
HTC Bolt is available at sprint stores and Sprint.com for just $25 / month for 24 months with instalment billing. Its one shot price is $600 and comes in silver and grey colour options. The handset is exclusive to Sprint but could launch with different name elsewhere.
