Just few days back, Google unveiled Android 8.0 OS as Android Oreo. Since then smartphone users have been wondering whether their smartphones will get Android 8.0 Oreo Update.
Since then, several phone makers have been confirming the OS updates for their devices. One of them is Taiwanese company, HTC.
HTC USA’s official twitter handle has confirmed that Android 8.0 Oreo update will be available globally for HTC U11, HTC U Ultra and HTC 10. Apart from these devices. few other HTC phones will get the Oreo OS update as well.
HTC has also revealed that U11 will be its first smartphone to get the update. It will start rolling out in Q4 2017 (October – December time). Exact dates were not revealed though.
Apart from HTC, BlackBerry has also confirmed that its KeyOne handset will get the update too.
