HTC Desire 22 Pro is official with Viverse support

HTC has risen from its slumber and has finally launched a new Desire series smartphone called HTC Desire 22 Pro.

It has built-in VIVERSE platform support and can easily handle 2D/3D content on extended XR devices. The handset be used to enter VIVERSE to trade digital assets, create VIVE Avatar, Customize avatars, access VIVE Wallet and supports VIVE app (integrates with VIVE Flow VR Glasses).

The Desire 22 Pro is 9.4mm thick and houses a 4520mAh battery inside. It has supports for 18W Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, wireless and reverse charging. The handset sports a IP67 splash/dust proof rating.

The smartphone features a 6.6-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has Gorilla Glass protection for added scratch resistance. HTC has included a fingerprint sensor at side for biometrics.

Other specifications of HTC Desire 22 Pro include octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable). It has 32MP selfie camera while the back side includes a combo of 64MP main, 13MP ultra-wide and 5MP depth lens.

The smartphone houses dual Nano SIM slots with 5G support. It has Android 12 OS running inside and brings support for NFC.

HTC Desire 22 Pro specs

The HTC Desire 22 Pro price is set at NT$ 11,990 ($404 / Rs. 31,830 approx.) and comes in Midnight Black and Gold colors. It will initially go on sale in Taiwan from July 1st.
