HTC U11 EYEs specs, price out ahead of official announcement

HTC is soon releasing its new smartphone called U11 EYEs. The device is slated to launch on January 15th, which is later today. Ahead of its official announcement, key specifications and photos of the handset has been leaked.
The leak comes directly from HTC’s very own testing page where it mentions all the key details of U11 EYEs. For starters, the Taiwanese phone maker is touting big on its edge sense (also includes updated Edge launcher). It has even showcased its transparent back cover which has open sides. It is quite funny to see HTC cutting down safety factor for open edges.
The HTC U11 EYEs specs include a 6-inch Super LCD3 display with FHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Not to mention its IP67 rating for Water and Dust resistance.
The mobile packs in dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G+ with VoLTE. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 Mobile Platform and sports 4GB RAM. It has 64GB ROM and allows further expansion.
There is a 5MP + 5MP dual camera setup at the front. It has beauty mode and supports Face Recognition. The back side sports a 12MP UltraPixel 3 shooter with LED Flash. Just under the rear camera is a fingerprint sensor which provides additional security.
The  HTC U11 EYEs features in Hi-Res sound, Android Nougat OS and 3930 mAh typical battery. Usual connectivity options including NFC and USB 2.0 Type-C is supported as well.

The HTC U11 EYEs will be priced at 3299 Yuan (US$ 514 approx) and will launch later today. You can pre-order till January 25th by paying 99 Yuan. For those who reserve the phone will get discount of 300 Yuan thus making final price of 3000 Yuan (US$ 467 approx.). The mobile will come in very Black, Moonlight Silver and Red Huochi colors.
