HTC has announced Plus variant of U11 called HTC U11+. It features in Edge Sense technology and supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The HTC U11 Plus has dimensions of 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 188 grams. It has IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It also comes with HTC USonic with Active Noise cancellation, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition and is Hi-Res audio certified as well.
The phone packs in a Nano SIM slot and support 4G VoLTE. It has fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back. The mobile runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense UI out of the box.
The HTC U11+ specs include 6-inch Super LCD 6 display with 2880 x 1440 pixels Quad HD+ resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and supports multi-touch as well.
The HTC U11 Plus features an 8MP front facing camera with BSI sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 85-degree FOV and records 1080p videos. On the back side is a 12MP UltraPixel 3 primary camera with dual LED Flash. It has BSI Sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, 1.4µm pixels, PDAF and records 4K videos with 3D audio.
Connectivity wise, its includes support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS and USBType-C 3.1 Gen 1. There is no 3.5mm Jack.
In Europe, HTC U11 Plus costs €799 (US$ 930 / Rs. 60,140 approx.). There is exact dates of availability. The handset is also expected to land in Asia along with other global markets. Sadly, HTC isn’t planning to launch U11+ in USA.
