HTC U19e with Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM announced

HTC as expected has officially announced its latest smartphone called U19e. It has rear facing fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with HTC Sense on top.

The phone houses Hybrid Dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. It has 6-inch multi-touch IPS display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There is a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection as well.

The phone has dimensions of 156.5 x 75.9 x 8.0 mm ans has weigh of 180 grams. It has 3930mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging. Notably, it comes with Quick Charge 3.0 charger in the box.

The HTC U19e specs include octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 mobile platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.

There is a 24MP (F/2.) + 2MP (Iris Recognition unlock) dual front cameras for selfies. At the back side 12MP (F/1.8, PDAF, EIS) + 20MP (Telephoto, F/2.6, 2X Optical Zoom, 10X Digital Zoom) dual camera setup along with Dual LED Flash.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C 3.1, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C audio support. Additionally, the smartphone features in HTC Boom Sound Hi-Fi dual speakers for audio.

The HTC U19e price in Taiwan is NT$ 14,990 (US$ 475 / Rs. 32,950 approx.) and comes in Modest Green and Extraordinary Purple colors. It will go on sale in country from June 12th.
