HTC VIVE Flow VR Headset unveiled

HTC has announced its latest VR headset called VIVE Flow. It has price upwards of €569.00 / $499. Those who pre-order can get gifts worth €110*. It includes VIVO Flow Case, Viveport Infinity (2months) and selected content (7 items).

HTC VIVE Flow specifications and features

The VIVE Flow is specially designed for comfort. It is ultra light weight at just 189 grams (1.2m cable has additional 50 grams). It has oversized goggles like foldable design and comes with replaceable face gasket and temple pads.

The Flow VR Headset feature two 2.1-inch LCD displays offering 1600 x 1600 pixels resolution per eye (3.2K combined). It offers up to 100-degree FOV with 75Hz refresh rate. The headset comes with Adjustable diopter dials that allows easy focus adjustment for each lens.

The VR headset from HTC houses 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage space. It offers active cooling for stable performance and increased user comfort.

The headset houses stereo speakers with spatial audio, dual microphones with echo and noise cancellation and is compatible with Bluetooth headphones. One can use connected phone as controller and allows video pass throu for environmental awareness.

The HTC VIVE Flow is compatible with external power sources like battery banks. It has Hot swap power sources and preserve running processes on devices for up to 5 minutes with its built-in power supply system.

The VR Headset packs in two cameras for inside-out headset 6DoF tracking. It has support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.0 and USB-C port.
