Huami as promised, has announced its latest smartwatch called Amazfit GTR. It comes in 42mm and 47mm case options. The wearable is 5ATM rated for water/dust resistance.
The 47mm variant sports 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution. The 42mm Amazfit GTR features in a smaller 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 390 x 390 pixels resolution. Their screen offers 326ppi pixel density and come with AF coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The 47mm Amazfit GTR measures 47.2 x 47.2 x 10.75 mm and weighs 36 grams for aluminum alloy built, 48 grams for stainless steel variant and 40 grams for model with titanium metal. It has 410 mAh Li-Po battery which offers about 24 days of battery life on normal use or up to 74 days in basic watch mode.
The Amazfit GTR 42mm has dimensions of 42.6 x 42.6 x 9.2 mm and weighs 2.5.5 grams. It comes with a smaller 195 mAh Li-Po battery which offers up to 12 days of battery life in normal use or up to 34 days in basic watch mode.
These smartwatch variants are compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 or above or iOS 10.0 or above. They have Bluetooth V5.0 LE for pairing with smartphones. Additionally, they support GPS, GLONASS and NFC.
The Huami Amazfit GTR features in BioTracker PPG Bio-Tracking Optical sensor (for tracking heart rate 24 hours), 3-Axial Geomagnetic sensor, 6-Axis Accelerometer, Capacitive sensor, Ambient Light Brightness sensor and Air Pressure sensor. It also gives sedentary remainders, sleep tracking and health monitoring functions.
Huami has also introduced Amazfit GTR 47mm Iron Man Limited Edition smartwatch which has red silicone strap, golden casing, ceramic bezels (black matte color) and Ironman dial.
