Huawei FreeBuds 4i earbuds announced with Bluetooth V5.2, ANC

The Huawei FreeBuds 3i has its successor and company is calling it as FreeBuds 4i. The earbuds uses Bluetooth V5.2 for seamless connectivity with compatible devices.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i measures 37.5 x 21 x 23.9 mm and weighs about 5.5 grams. Its carry cum charging case has dimensions of 48 x 61.8 x 27.5 mm and has weight of 36.5 grams.

The earbuds houses 10mm dynamic drivers with polymer composite diaphragm which delivers crystal clear vocals. The earbuds also have active noise cancellation (ANC) and special Transparent mode for listening to surrounding environments.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i has dual microphones with AI call noise reduction. These use “beamforming” technology that accurately detects human voices. Additionally, its AI neural network algorithm makes voices clear by extracting human voice from noisy environments.

Each earbuds controls. Simply double tap to play or pause music OR answer / end calls. One can activate ANC with a long tap. For users with Huawei smartphone / tablets running on EMUI 11, FreeBuds 4i offers low-latency mode and pop-up and pair functionality.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i feature in 55mAh battery which gives about 7.5 hours of ANC or up to 10 hours with ANC. Talktime is rated at 5.5 hours / 6.5 hours. The charging case houses 215mAh (min) battery capacity.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i price is 499 Yuan ($77 / Rs. 5600 approx.). It comes in Carbon Black, Ceramic White and Honey Red colors. It is already up for pre-order in China and will start selling from March 8th.
