Huawei Honor 5A with 4G VoLTE, 5.5-Inch 720p Display, 8MP/13MP cameras announced

Huawei has announced its latest smartphone called the Honor 5A in China. It has dimensions of 154.3 x 77.1 x 8.45 mm, weighs 168 grams and sports 3D patterns on the back side.
The Phone is equipped with 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. The screen has 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles and comes with tempered glass protection.
The Huawei Honor 5A specs include 1.2GHz Octa-Core Kirin 620 Processor with Mali 450 GPU or (1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4) Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage ROM and MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 128GB.
This smartphone run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Emotion UI 4.1 and houses Dual SIM Slots with 4G VoLTE support. It has 8MP front facing camera equipped with Sony / Hynix BSI sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 27mm 4P wide-angle-lens. On the back is 13MP primary snapper that comes with Sony / OmniVision sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 28mm wide-angle-lens, LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording capabilities.

The mobile phone comes bundled with 3100 mAh Li-Po (typical) battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.1 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Huawei Honor 5A is priced at 699 Yuan (US$ 106 / €94) for the standard variant. The China Telecom, China Unicom and entire network version is priced slightly higher at 799 Yuan (US$ 121 / €108). The phone comes in White, Black, Blue and Gold colour options and is up for order at VMall. It will go on sale in China from June 17, 2016.
