Huawei Honor V9 with 5.7-inch QHD display, Kirin 960, 6GB RAM announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone called Honor V9 (DUK-AL20). It was announced at dedicated event in China.
The smartphone has measurements of 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots of which second slot can be doubled for MicroSD card. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.0.
The Honor V9 Specs include 5.7-inch LTPS display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It has 515ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch as well.
Under the hood is an octa-core (1.8GHz A53 x 4 + 2.4GHz A73 x 4) Kirin 960 processor with Mali G71 MP8 GPU. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options. It allows further expansion up to 128GB as well.
Honor V9 Image -03The smartphone is equipped with 8MP front 1080p camera with F/2.0 Aperture to ensure quality selfies. On the back side sides a 12MP + 12MP (dual camera) setup with F/2.2 Aperture. It has dual-tone LED Flash and supports Laser Focus + Deep Focus, Digital zoom, HDR and 4K video recording.
The Honor V9 Feature a 4000 mAh typical capacity Battery (3900 mAh minimum). It offers 3G talk time of 30 hours and about 21 days of standby. The handset makes use of DTS sound processing technology for optimum audio.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetotoh V4.2 BLE, GPS/GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Honor V9 price starts at 2599 Yuan ($377) for 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant. Its 6GB RAM / 64GB storage model will cost 2999 Yuan ($436) . The premium 6GB RAM / 128GB storage version will cost 3499 Yuan ($508). The handset comes in Black, Gold, Red and Blue colors. It will start retailing in China from February 28th.
