Huawei Maimang 8 with triple rear cameras announced

Huawei as expected, has announced Maimang 8 smartphone in China. It is successor to last years Maimang 7.

The device houses Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots with support for Dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.

The smartphone dimensions are 155.2 x 73.4 x 7.95 mm and has weight of 160 grams. It packs in 6.21-inch multi-touch 2.5D curved glass display with 2340x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Huawei Maimang 8 specs include octa-core (2.2GHz A73 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 710 processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, which is expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.

In terms of optics, there is an 8MP front camera for selfies. At the back side is a triple camera setup consisting of 24MP + 2MP + 16MP (ultra-wide) shooters. There is a rear LED Flash and support for 480fps slow motion capture.

The Huawei Maimang 8 features in 3400 mAh (typical) / 3320 mAh (minimum) battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, MicroUSB V2.0 and GPS/GLONASS.

The Huawei Maimang 8 Price is 1899 Yuan (US$ 275 / Rs. 19,060 approx.) and comes in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black colors. It will go on sale in China from June 12th, with its pre-orders starting today.
