Huawei has launched Mate 40 series in China. Along with it, company has taken wraps off its new Mate 30E Pro 5G smartphone in its home market.
Dimensions of mobile come to 158.1 x 73.1 x 8.8 (glass version) – 9.5 mm (plain leather) and has weight of about 198 grams. The handset is powered by Android 10 based EMUI 11.
The Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE. It has fingerprint senor for secure unlocking.
The mobile sports a 6.53-inch multi-touch OLED display with 2400 x 1176 pixels resolution and delivers DCI-P3 colors. Powering inside is octa-core (2.86GHz A76 x 2 + 2.3 6GHz A76 x 2 + 1.95GHz A55 x 4) Huawei Kirin 990E processor with 14 core Mali-G76 GPU and Large + micro core NPU.
The Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G specs include 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage options. It has NM Card support for further expansion up to 256GB.
Company has managed to include 32MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. There is a secondary 3D depth camera at the front as well. At the back side are triple cameras which consists of 40MP (pixel move ultra-wide, F/1.8) + 40MP (pixel ultra-sensitive wide angle, F/1.6, OIS) + 8MP (telephoto, F/2.4, OIS, AF) shooters with Dual LED Flash. Other camera features include 3x optical zoom (3x zoom is approximate, lens focal lengths are 18 mm, 27 mm, 80 mm), 5x hybrid zoom (three cameras can achieve excellent 5x zoom effect in various environments through different combinations) and 30x Digital zoom.
The Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G features in a 4500mAh battery capacity and supports 40W wired fast charging and 27W Huawei Wireless super fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Wave2 / MIMO / VHT160, Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C 3.1 G en 1 (support DP1.2), NFC, GPS(L1+L5)/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo(E1+E5a)/QZSS(L1+L5) and USB Type-C audio support.
The cellphone also comes with array of sensors like Ambient light, Infrared, hall, Gyro, Compass, Proximity Light, Gravity, Color Temperature and Barometer.
