Huawei, along with Mate 40 smartphone has also unveiled Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ handset. Both of these devices share several similarities.
Both smartphones have IP68 water resistant rating. These come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. They run on Android 10 OS with EMUI 11 on top. They come with 13MP (F/2.4) + ToF (3D Dept sensing) selfie shooters.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ feature in 6.76-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 2772 x 1344 pixels resolution. Pumping inside is octa-core (3.13GHz A77 x 1 + 2.54GHz A77 x 3 + 2.05GHz A55 x 4) Kirin 9000 5G processor with Mali-G78 MP24 GPU and dual Big + Tiny core NPU. They come with 4400mAh (typical) battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has dimension of 162.9 x 74.5 x 9.1 (glass) – 9.5 (leather) mm and weighs about 212 grams It has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space inside. At the back side are 50MP (RYYB Ultra Vision, F/1.9, OIS) + 20MP (ultra-wide Cine camera, F/1.8) + 12MP (telephoto, 5x Optical zoom, OIS) + 8MP (periscope, 10X optical zoom, OIS) + 3D Depth sensing ToF cameras and LED flash.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ measures 162.9 x 74.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 230 grams. This particular model has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space. Rear camera options include 50MP (RYYB Ultra Vision, F/1.9, OIS) + 20MP (ultra-wide Cine camera, F/1.8) + 12MP (telephoto, 10x Optical zoom, OIS) + 8MP (periscope, 10X optical zoom, OIS) + 3D Depth sensing ToF cameras and LED flash.
Both Huawei mobiles have USB Type-C audio and Stereo speakers. They support 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2 LE, GPS(L1+L5)/GLONASS/Beidou/NavIC, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1 and NFC.

Huawei has also announced Porsche Design Mate 40 RS. It has same specifications of Mate 40 Pro+ but comes with custom case and Porsche design themes. It has infra-red temperature sensor in Addition. It comes in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colors and is priced at €2,295 ($2,715 / Rs. 1,99,900 approx.)
