Huawei Mate 9 with 6GB RAM / 128GB Storage now available in US

The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone, which went on sale last year in November, now has a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
Huawei has quietly started selling Mate 9 6GB RAM variant at Amazon. Strange enough, company has yet to officially announce 6GB RAM / 128GB Storage variant. The handset is currently listed by Huawei itself, which brings in more credibility. One of the seller is Kiletrading which ships the phone from Hong Kong.
The phone features an uni-body aluminum design. It has dimensions of 156.9 x 78.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs about 190 grams. It has fingerprint sensor on the back side that provides additional security.
Huawei Mate 9 Specs include 5.9-Inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at 373ppi pixel density. The screen gives 96% NTSC color saturation and 1500:1 high contrast.
Under the hood is an Octa-Core (2.4GHz A73 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Huawei  Kirin 960 processor coupled with i6 co-processor and Mali-G71 MP8 Octa-Core GPU. This particular variant  has 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in ROM, further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card
The Mate 9’s MHA-L29 variant has hybrid dual SIM slots of which SIM 2 slot doubles up for microSD Card. The MHA-L09 is a Single SIM variant with dedicated MicroSD card slot. It has 4000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
The smartphone is equipped with 8MP front facing auto focus camera with F/1.9 Aperture. On the back is a 20MP monochrome camera plus a 12MP secondary RGB camera . Primary camera features include BSI CMOS sensors, F/2.2 Aperture, 2X Hybrid Zoom, OIS, 4-in-1 Hybrid Auto Focus (PDAF + CAF + Laser + Depth), 4K video recording and dual-tone LED Flash.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2 (BLE), USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BDS, NFC etc.
