Huawei has announced its latest 2-in-1 in China called MateBook E 2022. It comes in Nebula Ash and Interstellar Blue (only for i5 model) colors. The device is up for booking and will go on sale in Chinese markets from December 1st.

For starters, this 2-in-1 runs on Windows 11 Home out of the box. Its power button houses a fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The MateBook E 2022 measures 286.5 x 184.7 x 7.99 mm and weighs just about 709 grams. It has quad-speaker setup paired with quad-microphones.
The 2-in-1 feature a 12.6-inch OLED display offering 2560 x 1600 pixels WQXGA resolution at 16:10 aspect ratio. It is a multi-touch screen delivering DCI-P3 wide colors, 1000000:1 contrast ratio and 600nits (HBM) brightness. The device has slim bezels and boasts 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The screen on MateBook E 2022 supports M-Pencil (2nd Gen). The pen sports a transparent tip design with round hexagonal shape and platinum coated nib. It supports tilt writing with 2ms latency and offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The 2nd Gen M-Pencil magnetically attaches to tablet and charges wirelessly. On a fully charge, it delivers about 10 hours of usage.
The Huawei MateBook E 2022 comes in two processor options. It comes with either 11th Generation Intel Core i5-1130G7 processor OR Core i7-1160G7 processor. These are paired with Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
The 2-in-1 sports 8GB / 16GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB / 512GB NVMe SSD storage options. Regardless of the variant, there is NM card support up to 256GB.
For optics, Huawei has included an 8MP front camera and a 13MP primary camera at back. It has 42Wh battery capacity and supports 65W fast charging. The battery can charge up to 54% in just about 30 minutes and 100% in 90 minutes.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and Thunder bolt 4 port (supports DisplayPort, Charging, Data Transfer).
As an added accessory, company is selling smart magnetic keyboard which is adjustable from 110°~160°. The Yueslide Keyboard has a slide rail structure that allows one handed opening / closing.
