Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4″ and MediaPad M5 10.8″ announced

Huawei has just announced its latest Tablet under its MediaPad series called MediaPad M5 8.4-inch and MediaPad M5 10.1-inch. They come with a physical home button which embedded a fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. There is a MediaPad M5 Pro model as well which has almost same specs at 10-inch variant, but comes with M-Pen Stylus with 4096-layer pressure sensitivity.
Both these tablets are powered by octa-core (2.4GHz A53 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 960 SoC with i6 co-processor and Mali-G71 octa-core GPU. They come with 4GB RAM and has 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage options. There an option for further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8″ measures 212.6 x 124.8 x 7.3 mm and weighs 316 grams. It has an 8.4-inch 2.5D curved glass Enhanced ClariVu display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and sports 82% screen to body ratio. It has 5100 mAh battery and supports 9V/2A fast charging.  It also comes with Harman Kardon certified stereo speakers, Huawei Histen sound effects and Hi-Res Audio.
Huawei-MediaPad-M5-10-image-1The Huawei MediaPad M5 10″ has dimensions of 258.7 x 171.8 x 7.3 mm and has weight of 498 grams. It packs in a 10.8-inch Enhanced ClariVu display with 2.5D curved glass and offers 2560 x 1600 pixels WQXGA resolution. It has 7500 mAh fast charging battery (9V/2A). Additionally, it comes with Harman Kardon certified Quad speakers, Huawei Histen sound effect and Hi-Res audio.
Both of these tablets runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. They have 8MP front facing camera and 13MP rear camera with PDAF capabilities. They offer connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, USB Type C etc.
They come in Space Grey and Champagne Gold colors and will roll out from March 2018 in European markets and US.
