Huawei expands its Mediapad lineup in India with the launch of new tablet called MediaPad T5. It has metal body with anti-fall design and houses dual speakers with Huawei Histen sound effect.
The tablet flaunts a 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels Full HD resolution and supports multi-touch. It is powered by octa-core (2.36GHz A53 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 659 processor with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 specs include 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory. It comes with MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 256GB.
It comes pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.0 on top. The OS also includes ‘Children’s Corner’ where users can limit children’s usage or customize the content. It has 5100 mAh (typical) battery.
The MediaPad T5 features in 2MP fixed focus front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side is a 5MP auto focus camera with F/2.4 Aperture. In terms of dimensions, it measures 243 x 164 x 7.6 mm and weighs 460 grams.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 2GB/16GB model costs Rs. 14,900 while the MediaPad T5 3GB/32GB variant carries price-tag of Rs. 16,990. Company is also giving out flip cover and Huawei Earphone AM 12 worth Rs. 2,998 for free under its introductory launch offer. You can buy MediaPad T5 at Amazon.in from July 10, 2019.
