Huawei Nova 2i with octa-core Kirin 659, 4GB RAM launched

Huawei has silently introduce its latest Nova Series smartphone in Malaysia called Nova 2i. It is already listed at vMall’s Malaysia division.
In terms of specifications, the Huawei Nova 2i packs in 5.9-inch FullView display that fits into a 5.5-inch form factor. It’s bezel-less design further enhances style. It has 2160 x 1440 pixels Full HD+ resolution at 2:1 aspect ratio and 83% screen to body ratio.
The cell phone measures 156.2 x 75 x 7.5 mm and weighs about 164 grams. It has uni-body metal design with soft lines, curved and rounded edges. It is equipped with fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Huawei Nova 2i specs include an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage space and comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1.
It has total of four cameras, two front ones and two at the back. Starting with the front, it has 13MP + 2MP selfie shooters. The former has F/2.0 Aperture and 1.75µm pixel size. The latter is color lens that captures depth of field. There is a selfie toning flash with 2-level brightness. On the back side of the smartphone is 16MP + 2MP cameras.
The Nova 2i features in a decent 3340 mAh battery. It has said to last for 2 days on ordinary usage. It has Ambient Light sensor, Proximity, Accelerometer and digital compass as well. The handset also supports array of gestures like drawing an S with knuckle takes screenshot, tapping twice with two fingers start recording etc.
The Huawei Nova 2i comes in Gold, Blue and Black colors. Pricing and availability details are not known.
