Huawei Nova 2S with 6-inch display, Kirin 960, 6GB RAM announced

Huawei expands its Nova Series with the announcement of its latest mobile phone called Nova 2S. It has Fingerprint sensor at the front and shiny glass back.
The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.0 on top. It has hybrid Dual SIM slots, both Nano with one doubling up for MicroSD card. It also includes Hi-Fi audio chip for optimum audio.
The Huawei Nova 2S specs include 6-inch LTPS display with 2.5D curved Glass. It has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch as well.
An octa-core (2.4GHz A73 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 960 with i6 co-processor and Mali-G71 octa-core GPU sits at the core. It comes with 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal memory. The handset also allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card
The Nova 2S features in 20MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. There is a secondary front camera, which is a 2MP shooter and sports front LED Flash. Both of these selfie cameras combine to offer depth of field bokeh effects. Face recognition is also supported.
Huawei Nova 2S image -2 On the back side is another dual camera setup, 16MP (RGB) + 20MP (Monochrome). It has LED Flash, F/1.8 Aperture and supports PDAF and 4K Video recording.
The hardware is juiced up by 3340 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot,  Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5m Audio Jack etc.
The Huawei Nova 2S price starts at 2699 Yuan (US$ 408 / Rs. 26,350 approx.) for 4GB/64GB model and 2999 Yuan (US$ 455 / Rs. 29,660 approx.) for 6GB RAM / 64GB ROM variant. The Special Yixing Zhang customized Nova 2S with 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM is priced higher at 3399 Yuan (US$ 515 / Rs. 33,170 approx.). The handset comes in Black, Gray, Rose Gold, Red and Blue colors.
