Huawei along with Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones has also announced Nova 5i handset. It comes with S-styled gradient back along with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Huawei Nova 5i specifications include 6.4-inch multi-touch IPS LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen also delivers DCI-P3 color gamut and sports 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The mobile has dimensions of 159.1 x 75.9 x 8.3 mm and has weight of 178 grams. It packs in an octa-core (2.2GHz A73 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 710 processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
The Huawei Nova 5i features in 6GB/8GB RAM options with 128GB of internal storage space. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots and supports microSD card up to 512GB for further storage expansion.
In terms of optics, there is a 25MP selfie camera with 1/2.8-inch sensor size, F/2.0 Aperture and 0.9micron pixels. At the back side is quad camera setup consisting of 24MP (F/1.8, PDAF,CAF) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (4cm macro) + 2MP (Portrait) shooters along with LED flash.
The Nova 5i packs in 4000mAh (typical) / 3900mAh (minimum) battery. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS and GLONASS.
The Nova 5i price starts at 1999 Yuan (US$ 290 / Rs. 20,230 approx.) for 6GB RAM variant and 2199 Yuan (US$ 320 / Rs. 22,250 approx.) for 8GB RAM model. It comes in Red, Blue and Black colors. The smartphone is up for order in China and will go on sale from July 28th.
