Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G with Kirin 985 SoC out in China

Huawei has launched a new 4G smartphone in Nova Series called Nova 8 Pro 4G. It is a dual SIM handset with dual 4G VoLTE support.

The Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G boots on Android 10 with EUMI 11.0 and comes with fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It has 6.72-inch HDR10 capable OLED display with 2676 x 1236 pixels resolution. The screen offers 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The smartphone packs in octa-core Kirin 985 processor with 8GB RAM and comes in 128GB / 256GB storage options. There is no expansion slot though. The Nova 8 Pro 4G is 7.85 mm thick and sports a 4000mAH battery inside with 66W fast charging support. Huawei claims that handset charges 60% in 15 minutes and 100% in 35 minutes.

The nova 8 Pro adopts a triple-mix liquid cooling system of “large area VC liquid cooling + 3D graphene heat dissipation film + high thermal conductivity metal”

The device includes 32MP and 16MP dual cameras at the front for selfies and video calling. At the back side are quad cameras which consists of 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) shooters and LED Flash.
