HUAWEI Nova 8 SE Vitality version with Kirin 710A SoC unveiled

Huawei has officially introduced Nova 8 SE Vitality Version of last year’s Nova 8 SE smartphone. It is priced at 1899 Yuan ($292 / Rs. 21,730 approx.) and comes in Magic Night Black and Frost Silver color options.

The NOVA 8 SE Vitality comes with a 6.6-inch LCD display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. Huawei says that its screen-to-body ratio is more than 94%.

In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 160.68 x 73.3 x 8.4 mm and weighs approximately 179 grams. It offers dual SIM connectivity with dual 4G VoLTE support.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition specs include Octa-core (2GHz A73 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 710A processor with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage space and comes pre-installed with Android 10 based EMUI 10.1.

For optics, it has 48MP (main, F/1.8, AF, 6x digital zoom) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) triple cameras at back with LED Flash and supports 1080p video recording. For selfies and video calling, it has 16MP front camera with F/2.0 aperture.

The Vitality Edition Nova 8 SE feature a 4000mAh (typical) / 3900mAh (minimum) battery and supports 40W Huawei Wired Super Fast charging.

A fingerprint sensor is placed at side for fast and secure unlocking. The device has array of other sensors like gravity, compass and Ambient light sensors.

For connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack. It has Huawei Histen sound as well.
