Huawei Nova and Nova Plus metal body phones announced

Huawei has introduced its latest Nova Series of smartphones at IFA 2016 Berlin event. Company has announced Nova and Nova Plus smartphones, both with metal body and fingerprint sensor.

Huawei Nova

The phone sports a 5-Inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 2GHz octa-croe Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU.
It has 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage space. The smartphone comes with Android 6.0.1 OS with EMUI 4.1 UI. It has finger print sensor at the back.
The Huawei Nova specs include 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. On the back is 12MP main camera with LED Flash, 1.25-micron pixel size and supports PDAF.
The hardware is backed by 3020 mAh battery. It has hybrid dual sim slots (nano + nano / microSD) and support 4G LTE. Other options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0 LE, USB Type-C etc.

Huawei Nova Plus

This is a slightly premium smartphone that features in 5.5-Inch 1080p multi-touch display with 2.5D curved glass. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB storage ROM and allows further expansion using MicroSD card.

The Huawei Nova Plus is powered by the same 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It’s hybrid Dual SIM slots support 4G LTE.
The mobile has Android 6.0.1 marshmallow OS pre-installed with EMUI 4.1 skimmed on top. It has the same 8MP front camera with F/2.0 aperture. The back snapper has been upgraded to 16MP and supports dual-ton LED Flash, PDAF, OIS and 1080p video recording.
Inside is 3340 mAh battery. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dualband (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0 LE, USB Type-C etc.

The Huawei Nova is priced at €399 (US$ 444) while the Nova Plus costs €429 (US$ 478). They come in Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey and Prestige Gold colours.
