Huawei is working a new Mate Series smartphone, calling it as Mate 9. It is expected to have a pro variant with dual curved edge displays.
Now, the Chinese company has released a poster on its official Weibo account saying “A STEP AHEAD”. The centre of the poster is occupied with car-silhouette which indicates its unique camera features. It could also hit a powerful processor inside, which is highly expected to be company’s latest Kirin 960 SoC. Perhaps, this upcoming Huawei phone easily integrates with cars.
The launch event teaser does not reveal much, yet keeps us wondering. For now, we can only speculate. Huawei has scheduled an event on November 3rd, 2016 where it is expected to announce its latest Mate 9 Smartphone. Moreover, according to the rumors flying around, the Pro Model with QHD dual-edge curved display could be priced upwards at $1,300.
In terms of specifications of Huawei Mate 9, it is expected with 5.9-inch display with 1080p resolution, up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage ROM. The handset could sport a dual-camera setup with 4x optical zooming.
