Huawei TalkBand B5 with pop-out Bluetooth headset announced [Price Updated]

The Huawei TalkBand B3 finally gets a successor in the form of TalkBand B5. It is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance and comes with optional 18mm Silicone, Leather or Stainless steel straps.
It has a pop-out design which converts the smartband in to Bluetooth headset. It has dual microphones for noise reduction and trip-core audio chip for HD voice.
The Huawei TalkBand B5 features in 1.13-inch AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display (touch) with 300 x 160 pixels resolution. It connects with most smart devices using Bluetooth V4.2 and is compatible with devices running on Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 or above.
Once connected, users can take Bluetooth calls, listen to music (in Bluetooth headset mode), check call history, health assistant etc. The smartband is equipped with 24 hour heart rate monitor (Huawei TruSeen 2.0 Technology) which can track heart beats during several sports activities like running, walking, cycling etc. It is possible thanks to Huawei TruRelax Technology  which analysis heart rate variations and stress status.
The TalkBand B5 also houses TruSleep 2.0 which uses cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor different types of sleep. Using V02Max one can count calories, distances, set running plans according to heart rate valuation etc.  It is worth mentioning that for some features to work, you may require phones running on Huawei EMUI 4.1 or above.
The smartband houses 108 mAh battery which offers up to 6 hours of talk time. Company is claiming about 3.5 days of battery life.
The Huawei TalkBand B5 comes in Sports Edition (Ash / Black / Brown straps) and Business Edition (metal strap). It is already up for pre-order at VMall and will go on sale from July 20th. Pricing details will be out on July 18th. Along with it, Huawei has also announced Nova 3 smartphone.
UPDATE: The Huawei TalkBand B5 price is set at 999 Yuan (US$ 149 / Rs. 10,200 approx.) for standard model with silicone band. The variant with leather band costs 1199 Yuan (US$ 178 / Rs. 12,240 approx.) while the Business Edition with metal strap has price-tag of 1499 Yuan (US$ 223 / Rs. 15,300 approx.)
