Latest leak by @Sudhanshu141 hints two new Huawei Y Series smartphones. The handset in question are Huawei Y5p and Huawei Y6p, of which press renders and key specs of handset have surfaced thanks to tipster.
Huawei Y5p
Looking at the press photos of Huawei Y5p, it seems to match Honor 9S smartphone. Additionally, the specs sheet is also more or less the same. The device will be offered in three colors – Blue, Black, Green.
The Huawei Y5p will measure 146.5 x 70.94 x 8.35 mm and weigh about 144 grams. It will have dual SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE and boots on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1.
It will have 5.45-inch LCD display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution at 18 :9 aspect ratio. Inside will house an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which is expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
The Y5p will include 3020mAh battery which supports 10W charging via MicroUSB port. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio jack will be supported.
The tipster hasn’t revealed camera specs however, we do know that Honor 9S came with 5MP front and 8MP rear Auto focus camera with LED Flash.
Huawei Y6p
This particular smartphone is slightly beefed up version of Y5p and seems to be rebranded version of Honor 9A. The Huawei Y6p specs match to those of Honor 9A but comes with different camera layout design (at the back).
The device will measures 159.07 x 74.06 x 9.04 mm and carries weights of 185 grams. You will get dual SIM slots in Huawei Y6p. It will boot on Android 10 (with company’s proprietary UI) and includes a 5000mAh battery.
The smartphone will feature in 6.3-inch LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It has octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 Soc with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is again expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
The Huawei Y6p camera setup includes 13MP, 5MP and 2MP triple rear cameras with LED Flash. The front side includes an 8MP selfie shooter.
