Huawei Y7a unveiled with Kirin710A processor, 5000mAh battery

Huawei expands its Y Series lineup in Malaysia with the launch of Huawei Y7a smartphone. It has 6.67-inch IPS touch sensitive multi-touch display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and boasts 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.

It has side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and is powered by Android 10 based EMUI 10.1. The mobile houses dual SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE.

The Huawei Y7a measures 165.65 x 76.88 x 9.26 mm and weighs 206 grams. It has octa-core Kirin 710A processor inside which is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. The handset has support for further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card.

The Huawei Y7a specs include 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are quad-shooters with LED Flash. These include 48MP (main, F/1.8) + 8MP (120-degree wide-angle, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) shooters.

The smartphone is powered by 5000mAh battery and supports 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. Company claims that just 10 minutes of charging offers about 2 hours of video playback. Cellphone also comes with intelligent AI Power-saving algorithm. Statistically speaking, a fully charged battery offers about 38.2 hours of 4G talk time or 16.6 hours of online wide or 12 hours of 4G web surfing.

In terms of connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.1 BLE, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The device also comes with Proximity, Ambient Light and Gravity sensors.

The Huawei Y7a price is RM 799 (US$ 193 / Rs. 14,230 approx.) and comes in Midnight Black, Crush Green and Blush Gold colors. It will go on sale in Malaysia from October 30th. [source]
