Huawie has launched its new foldable smartphone in China called Mate Xs 2. It comes in Barcode White, Elegant Black and Frost Purple colors.

The device actually measure 156.5 x 139.3 (expanded state) / 75.5 (Folded) x 5.4-11.1mm (expanded) / 11.1mm Folded state. Measurements are of length x width x thickness. The smartphone weighs 255 grams for 8GB RAM + 256GB/512GB model and 257 grams for 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.
When folded, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 comes with 6.5-inch OLED display and offers 2480 x 1176 pixels resolution. When you unfold Mate Xs2, you are greeted with a 7.8-inch OLED screen that gives 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution. These displays offer, 424ppi pixel density, up to 120Hz refresh rate 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, Up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07-billion colors and P3 wide color gamut.
The Mate Xs 2 feature in octa-core Snapdragon 888 4G mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU and Qualcomm 6th Gen AI engine. It is powered by HarmonyOS 2.
The vanilla HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 has 8GB RAM with 256GB/512GB storage options. The HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 Collector’s Edition features in 12GB RAM and 512GB Storage. These allow further expansion up to 256GB using NM card.
The smartphone houses 10.7MP ultra-wide angle camera at front with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side is 50MP (main wide-angle, F/1.8, AF) + 13MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 8MP (telephoto, F/2.4, OIS) cameras with LED Flash.
The Mate Xs 2 8GB RAM + 256GB/512GB storage model houses 4600mAh (typ) / 4500mAh (min) battery capacity while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage Collector Edition variant has 4880mAh (typ) / 4780mAh (min) battery. The handset supports 66W fast charging and is compatible at several charging speeds.
The cell phone offers dual SIM connectivity with Dual 4G VoLTE support. It has Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 MIMO, HE160, 4096 QAM, 8 Spatial-stream sounding MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1, NFC and Type-C audio.
The Huawei Xs 2 delivers stereo sound and uses Huawei Histen audio tech. It has fingerprint sensor, Gravity, infrared, Hall, Barometer, Gyro, compass, ambient light, proximity, camera laser focus and color temperature sensors.

The Mate Xs 2 is up for order in China and will go on sale from May 6th.
