Innomdle Lab “Sgnl” watch strap that lets you talk using fingertip

Innomdle Lab, a member of Born2Global, will start mass production of “Sgnl” smart strap for watches. It has been independently developed, which allows users to talk on their cellphone simply by pressing fingertip at their ear.
A Kickstarter campaign (via) is already live where Sgnl has already exceeded its Kickstarter goal. This smart strap for watch was previously introduced as “TipTalk”. It can be attached with any classic watch or smartwatches like Samsung Gear, Apple Watch or Pebble time.
It allows users to bring added functionality just by replacing the watch strap. Additional functions include Call reminders, fitness tracker and Smart alerts.
The Sgnl works using patented Body Conduction Unit (BCU) technology that transmits vibrations through the body, which than can be converted into sound. The strap connects with phones using Bluetooth and comes with an embedded microphone.
When a voice call is received at phones, it sends signals to the strap, which in turn will generate vibrations through its BCU. The vibrations will be diverted to fingertips, when placed in the ear creates amplified sound within closed space.
Sgnl is designed to fit all 18-24mm standard watch lugs. For non watch wearers, It can be worn as a stylish, stand-alone smart band. It also has a dedicated Sgnl  app. It offers up to 4 hours of talk time and 7 days of standby. The strap is also IP56 certified for dust / water resistance and comes bundled with accelerometer. It is compatible with phones running on Android 4.4 or newer / iOS 8 or new.
Sgnl smart band comes in Classic White, Navy Blue and Gentle Black colors.
