Vivo’s iQOO brand has officially introduced its powerful 120W FlashCharge fast charging technology in China. With the announcement, iQOO has become first smartphone brand to bring 120W fast charging technology for its future flagships.
The 120W ultra-fast charging technology can charge a smartphone with 4000mAh battery to about 50% in just 5 minutes. It can fully charge a handset to 100% in just 15 minutes.
If you look at the statistics, current iQOO mobiles with 55W SuperFlash Charge 2.0 can go from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes, which is fast but not as impressive as 120W charging.
The iQOO FlashCharge 120W technology will go in to mass production soon. Company has also revealed that iQOO smartphone with 120W fast charging could launch in August.
Rumor has it that upcoming iQOO 3 Pro could pack in 120W Flash charging. iQOO has managed to keep that a secret for time being.
