VIVO’s iQOO brand has officially launched iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones in China. Both of these got certified by TENAA earlier today.
The iQOO 9 comes in Black, Orange and legendary colors. The iQOO 9 Pro is offered in Orange and Legendary color options.
iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro Specifications and features
Starting with iQOO 9, the cell phone measures 164.55 x 76.7 x 8.37 mm and weighs 206.1 grams. It has 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, up to 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colors, 1.07-billion colors, up to 1500nits brightness, 8000000:1 contrast ratio and multi-touch support. Its screen boasts a 92.76% screen-to-body ratio.
The iQOO 9 comes with 16MP front facing camera with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side are Triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 50MP (main, 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5, F/1.75), 13MP (120-degree ultra-wide, Samsung ISOCELL 3L6, F/2.2) and 12MP (Portrait, Sony IMX663, F/1.98, 2x optical / 20x digital zoom).
The iQOO 9 Pro on the other hand has dimensions of 164.81 x 75.2 x 8.83 (legend edition) / 9.21 mm (standard edition) and weighs 209.98 / 203.92 grams respectively. It has 6.78-inch Curved E5 AMOLED screen that offers 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, DCI-P3 colors, up to 1500nits brightness, 8000000:1 contrast ratio and 1.07-billion colors. It has 92.22% screen-to-body ratio.
The iQOO 9 Pro feature in same 16MP front camera with F/2.45 Aperture. Att the back side is a combo of 50MP (main, 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5, F/1.75) + 50MP (150-degree Ultra-wide Samsung GN5, F/2.27) + 16MP (60mm portrait, F/2.23, 2.5x optical / 30x digital zoom) shooters. The iQOO 9 Pro model feature micro-gimbal OIS.
Both iQOO 9 series smartphones run on Android 12 based OriginOS ocean. The pack in octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform with Adreno next-gen (Adreno 730) GPU. These come in options of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB / 512GBUFS 3.1 storage space options.
Both mobile phones include 2275mAh dual cell battery (4700mAh total) and supports fast charging (120W). The Pro model will support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging as well.
For connectivity, these offer dual Nano SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE and 5G (SA/NSA). They support Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and USB Type-C audio. iQOO has includes 0.87cc stereo speakers and delivers Hi-Res audio.
