iQOO Z3 5G mobile with Snapdragon 768G SoC unveiled

Latest mid-range mobile from VIVO’s iQOO brand is new iQOO Z3 5G (V2073A). It is powered by OriginOS for iQOO 1.0 and comes with Dual Nano SIM slots.

The phone houses side-mounted fingerprint sensor and support face wake facial recognition. The handset measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.50 mm and weighs 185.5 grams.

The iQOO Z3 specs include 6.58-inch LCD display with 2408 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, 1500:1 (typ) contrast ratio, 96% NTSC color gamut and multi-touch support. The handset also boasts 90.61% screen-to-body ratio.

Powering inside is octa-core Snapdragon 768G mobile platform with Adreno 620 GPU. It has options of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB built-in memory (LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage). Storage is non expandable though.

The iQOO Z3 houses 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras which include 64MP (main, Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor, F/1.79, EIS) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras and LED Flash.

The mobile houses 4400mAh (typical) battery with 55W fast charging support. It is claimed to offer up to 16.3 hours of 4G talk time or 468 hours of standby. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.

The iQOO Z3 5G colour options include Deep Black, Nebula and Cloud Blue shades. It is already up for order in China and will go on sale from April 1st.
