JioPhone 2 QWERTY phone launched for Rs. 2999

Reliance Jio has officially launched JioPhone 2 at its annual general meeting today. It has dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE (Bands 3/5/40) at Cat.4 speeds (150 Mbps DL / 50Mbps UL)
This QWERTY phone is powered by KAI OS. It hs 2.4-inch display with 320 x 240 pixels QVGA resolution. The phone features in 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The Reliance JioPhone 2 specs include 2MP rear camera and VGA front facing shooter. It has physical QWERTY keyboard with 4-way navigation bar.  There is a 2000 mAh battery that powers the hardware.
JioPhone-2-image-1In terms of connectivity (apart from VoLTE), it supports VoWiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1 LE, USB 2.0, NFC, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack. Chipset details were not revealed.
The JioPhone 2 carries introductory price-tag of Rs. 2999 and will be available from August 15th.
