Kyocera Hydro Shore budget waterproof smartphone launched

Kyocera has launched its latest waterproof smartphone called Hydro Shore. It has waterproof design and comes with IP57 certification. The device can sustain dust and water immersion for up to 30 minutes at 1 meter depths.
The mobile runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and includes Magnifont, that allows enlargement of select texts on screen. The Kyocera Hydro Shore packs in a 5-Inch IPS display, flexible acrylic lens and sports 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The screen is use-able even when it’s wet.
Under the hood is 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 2MP front and 5MP rear cameras. The primary snapper on the back comes with LED flash, auto focus, digital zoom and records 720p videos.
Kyocera Hydro Shore image -1Inside is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage memory and MicroSD card slot, for further expansion up to 64GB. The smartphone measures 139 x 72.1 x 9.9 mm and weigh 141 grams.
The Kyocera Hydro Shore Specs include 2160 mAh Lithium Ion non removable that gives 13 hours of talk time and 11 days of standby.  It als includes 3-axis accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and accelerometer.
The handset supports 4G LTE (bands 2/4/5/17), 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot (up to 10 devices), Bluetooth V4.1 LE/EDR, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Kyocera Hydro Shore is priced at just $80 and is available from Walmart and AT&T GoPhone service.
