India’s home grown brand LAVA has officially launched its first 5G smartphone in India called Agni 5G.

The handset is 5G (N41 / N77 / N78) capable with its dual Nano SIM slots. It runs on Android 11 OS and supports secure unlocking with its side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The mobile measures 168.8 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm and weighs just about 204 grams. It has a 5000mAh battery inside and supports 30W fast charging. Under Lava’s testing conditions, the cell phone offers up to 120 hours of music / 25 hours WhatsApp / 50 hours Phone calls / 730 hours standby on a full charge.
The LAVA Agni 5G specs include 6.78-inch multi-touch LCD display with 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and 396ppi pixel density. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It has 91.7% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering inside this cell phone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The mobile houses 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage space. It has dedicated MicroSD card slot that supports up to 256GB expansion.
The Lava Agni 5G feature in 64MP (main, F/1.79, 0.7µm pixel), 5MP (115-degree ultra-wide), 2MP (depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses at back with LED Flash. At the front side is a 16MP selfie shooter with F/2.4 Aperture.
Connectivity options include 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price and availability
The Lava Agni 5G India price is set at Rs. 19,999 and comes in Fiery Blue color. Pre-orders have already commenced. Those who pre-book this mobile phone (by paying Rs. 500) at lavamobiles.com before November 17th can get it for Rs. 17,999. Users will receive Rs. 2500 discount code via email after payment of Rs. 500 is done.
The Agni 5G will also land at Amazon.in and Flipkart from November 18th. Retail outlets will get stocks as well.
