Lava expands its Z Series lineup with Z1, Z2, Z4 and Z6 smartphones, myZ concept lets you configure specs

Lava has officially introduced several Z Series mobiles in India. These include Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4 and Lava Z6.

Along with these, Lava has also launched its new myZ program which lets you customize your phone. Well, not exactly. It allows you to choose some of its specifications like 2GB / 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM options. You can also choose 13MP or 2MP dual rear cameras or 13MP + 5MP + 2MP triple camera setup at back.

In terms of selfie cameras, you can have 8MP or 16MP front camera. The top end variant of smartphone will be priced at Rs. 10,699. Lava MyZ will be available at company’s official site from January 11th and will soon land in retail stores as well.

Lava Z1

The Lava Z1 is dual SIM mobile with 5-inch display and offers 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for added scratch resistance.

It has 1.8GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 SoC with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB ROM. The mobile also comes with MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.

The LAVA Z1 features in 3100mAh battery. It has Android 10 OS pre-installed and houses 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture and LED flash. At the back side is another 5MP shooter wi9th F/2.2 Aperture and LED Flash.

The smartphone measures 145.1 x 73.3 x 10.26 mm and offers military grade durability. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0 and GPS port.

The Lava Z1 price in India is set at Rs. 5499. It will go on sale at Amazon.in, Lavamobiles.com and offline stores from January 26th. It comes in Red and Blue colors.

Lava Z2

This particular smartphone has dimensions of 164.5 x 75.8 x 9.0 mm and has weight of 190 grams. It has dual SIM slots and offers military grade durability.

The Lava Z2 specs include 6.51-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside is 2.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with IMG powerVR GE8320 GPU.

It has 2GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB storage and allows further expansion up to 512GB. The mobile comes pre-installed with Android 10 Go Edition. It has an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture coupled with dual shooters at the back. These include 13MP (main, F/1.85) + 2MP (depth) shooters.

The Z2 houses 5000mAh battery. It has support for dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C.

The Lava Z2 costs Rs. 6999 and comes in Red and Blue colors. It will go on sale at Amazon.in, Lavamobiles.com and offline stores from January 11.

Lava Z4 and Lava Z6

These are basically same mobiles with only difference being RAM. The Lava Z4 houses 4GB RAM while Lava Z6 has 6GB LPDDR4 RAM. These come with 64GB storage and MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB.

The Lava Z4 / Z6 measures 164.5 x 75.8 x 9.0 mm and weighs 190 grams. These have Military grade durability and houses rear mounted fingerprint sensor. They have Dual Nano Slots with Dual 4G VoLTE. Both are powered by Android 10 OS.

Both cellphones feature in 6.51-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. These have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. They come with 2.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The Lava Z4 and Lava Z6 are fueled by 5000mAh battery. The have 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and LED Flash. At the back side are 13MP (main, F/1.85) + 5MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) shooters with LED Flash. All the connectivity options mentioned in Z2 are supported as well.

The Lava Z4 and Lava Z6 are priced at Rs. 8999 and Rs. 9999 respectively. They come in Red and Blue colors and will go on sale from January 11th.
