Lazada latests Tech Hub in Thailand to boost M-Commerce platform development

Lazada, a leading South-East Asia e-Commerce group has opened a Tech Hub in Bangkok. This latest move from the company aims to offer elevated experience to Lazada’s shoppers and sellers in the region and to drive strategic mobile development initiatives.
Main focus of this Tech Hub is to improvize and enhance the design and engineering of Lazada’s mobile shopping / selling sites and its Applications. Company is looking to hire more than 50 talented developers that include – Android and iOS developers, Go Programming Language developers and Quality Assurace automation engineers. The Tech Hub has been set up at EmQuartier in Central Business District, Bangkok, from where its team will operate.
According to the statistics, south-eastern e-commerce company has about 30 million app downloads and more than 60% of GMV is represented by Mobile sales in 2015.
Lazada Group already has tech centre opened in HoChi Minh, Vietnam (first centre opened in November 2012) and Moscow, Russia. Latest tech hub is the third from the group.
