Lenovo has already showcased its K6 Series of phone at IFA 2016. Now, company has announced Lenovo P2 and Lenovo A Plus smartphones at the event. The former is a mid-range phone while the latter is an entry level smartphone.
Lenovo P2
It comes in Single SIM and Dual SIM (nano) SIM variants and supports 4G LTE. It has 5.5-Inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen has 401ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch.
The Lenovo P2 specs include 2GHz octa-core cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in 3GB / 4GB RAM options coupled with 32GB of on-board storage. Chinese variant will sport 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. MicroSD cards up to 256GB are also supported.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc. Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and compass are included as well.
The Lenovo P2 price starts at €249 ($299) in Europe and will go on sale in November 2016.
Lenovo A Plus
The phone measures 133 x 66 x 9.9 mm and weighs 146 grams. It has Dual Micro SIM Slots with dual standby but lacks 4G support. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The Lenovo A Plus specs include 4.5-Inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 218ppi pixel density and 63.6% screen to body ratio. Multi-touch is also supported.
Inside is 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 32GB.
The mobile is equipped with 2MP front facing camera. On the back sits a 5MP auto focus snapper along with LED flash. It is powered by 2000 mAh Li-Po battery.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth V2.1 A2DP, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Lenovo A Plus price is set at €69 ($79) and is already up for purchase. It comes in Onyx Black and Pearl White colors.
