Lenovo has officially unveiled two new ‘C Series’ smartphones called Moto C and Moto C Plus. Aesthetically, both of them are identical looking but they have different specifications.
Moto C
The handset measures 145.5 x 73.6 x 9 mm and weighs about 154 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.
The phone packs in 5-inch multi-touch TFT display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor.
Other specifications include 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage options. They allow further expansion up to 32GB as well.
In terms of camera, there is 2MP selfie camera with 1µm pixels, 63-degree FOV, fixed focus and front LED flash. On the back side is 5MP camera unit with 1.4µm pixels, fixed focus, 74-degree FOV, 720p video recording and LED Flash.
It has 2350 mAh battery, which is removable. It has 3G / 4G Variant depending on the market. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Moto C price starts at €89 (unlocked and SIM free) for the 3G variant . The 4G model will cost slightly higher at €99. It comes in Metallic Cherry, Fine Gold, Starry Black and Pearl White color options. The handset will be available this spring in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Moto C Plus
The innards are slightly different in C Plus. For instance, it has 5-Inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat as well.
It has 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM . There are variants with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage as well. MicroSD card up to 32GB is also supported.
The mobile comes with Dual SIM slots. There is an 8MP primary camera at the back with 1.12µm pixel size, F/2.2 Aperture, 71-degree FOV and LED Flash. Front side sports a 2MP snapper.
The besting about Moto C Plus is its battery, boasting a capacity of 4000 mAh . Moreover, it is removable as well.
In terms of dimensions, the mobile measures 144 x 72.3 x 10 mm and weighs 162 grams. Connectivity options are more or less the same as Moto C.
The Moto C Plus price starts at €119 for 1GB RAM model. It comes in Metallic Cherry, Starry Black, Fine Gold and Pear White color options.
