Lenovo K8 Note with dual rear cameras, Helio X23 SoC launched

Lenovo has just announced its latest K Note series smartphone in India called K8 Note. This handset was also spotted in benchmarks few days back.
The smartphone measures 154.5 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs about 180 grams. It has unibody metal design and comes with dedicated hardware music key. It can not only play / pause music but can also be customized to launch any specific application. Moreover, the handset has P2i Nano coating, making it splash resistant.
The cell phone features in dedicated dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. There is a fingerprint sensor at the rear side for added security. Moreover, it comes with Lenovo’s Theatermax Tech and Dolby Atmor for optimum audio experience.
One of the key selling poins of Lenovo K8 Note is its dual rear cameras. It has 13MP shooter with dual-tone LED Flash and PureCel Plus sensor. There is a secondary 5MP shooter on the back as well. On the front side is a 13MP camera with dedicated LED Flash. It has F/2.0 Aperture and wide-angle lens.
The Lenovo K8 Note specs include 5.5-Inch 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution at 450 nits brightness and supports multi-touch as well.
Internal hardware makes up of deca-core (2.3GHz A72 x 2 + 1.85GHz A53 x 4 + 1.4GHz A53 x 4) MediaTek Helio X23 processor (64-bit) coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes in option of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory. There is a microSD card slot as well, which allows further expansion up to 128GB.
There is a 4000 mAh built-in battery with turbo charging support. It is said to foore up to 24.7 hours of 4G talk time and about 15 days of standby.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also includes Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, e-compass, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor.
The Lenovo K8 Note price starts at Rs. 12,999 (US$ 204) for 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM variant. The 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model costs Rs. 13,999 (US$ 220). It comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold color options. You can buy Lenovo K8 Note exclusively at Amazon.in starting August 18, 2017 from 12:00 PM (noon).
