Lenovo expands its ‘K Series’ lineup of smartphones with a new handset called Lenovo K9. It has glass back and packs rear facing fingerprint sensor.
The mobile packs in Hybrid dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has glass panel at the back and measures 153.8 x 72.9 x 7.95 mm.
The Lenovo K9 specs include 5.7-inch 2.5D curved glass multi-touch display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space. Optional microSD card slot allows further expansion up to 256GB. The hardware is powered by 3000 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the Lenovo K9 features in dual cameras at front and back. The selfie ones include 13MP and 5MP shooters with soft LED flash. At the back side is 13MP + 5MP cameras with LED flash.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Lenovo K9 price in India is Rs. 8999 and comes in Black and Blue colors. The mobile will go on sale online exclusively at Flipkart. The smartphone was announced along with Lenovo A5 smartphone.
