Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone (L79031) certified by TENAA with partial specs, Rumor roundup

Lenovo is all set to for the launch of its Legion Gaming smartphone on July 22, which is later today. The handset with model number L79031 has made its way at TENAA, a mandatory certification authority in China.

According to the certification, the phone measures 169.1 x 78.4 x 10.1 mm and comes with Dual SIM slots and Dual Standby. The handset supports 5G NR NSA/SA / TD-LTE / FDD-LTE / WCDMA / GSM bands.

The listing confirms 6.65-inch multi-touch display. According to the leaked details, it will have 2340 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate.

The Lenovo Legion Phone (L79031) will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ Mobile Platform which is confirm by its recent AnTuTu listing. The phone managed to score 648871 points.

Another thing confirmed is dual 2350mAh battery (4700mAh minimum) capacity. Rumors hinted to a 5000mAh (typical) battery setup with 90W fast charging support.

From the details we have, Legion Gaming phone will sport 3D cooling tower structure with dual heat pipes for enhanced cooling. To ensure thermal performance, the handset will include 14 temperature sensors.. It will have dual x-axis linear motor and triggers for gaming.

The smartphone will run on Android 10 out of the box and will include several enhanced gaming features. According to chatters, the handset will sport dual rear cameras (64MP main + 16MP ultra-wide) which unusually placed near the center. Just under it at dead center are dual LED flash. It has 20MP pop-up selfie camera placed at the side.

The Legion Phone will have Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V5.2 and dual USB Type-C.
