Lenovo owned Motorola has just announced its latest Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India. Company has announced both of these phones at a dedicated launch event held at Delhi.
Moto G4
Moto G4 houses 5.5-Inch Display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4). It has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, further expandable up to 128GB.
Inside is 3000 mAh battery and supports fast charging. On the camera front, the mobile houses 5MP selfie camera with 84-degree wide viewing angle lens and OmniVision OV5693 sensor. The back side houses 13MP main shooter with F/2.2 Aperture, LED Flash and supports 1080p video recording.
Mobile runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and support 4G LTE, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G4 Plus on the other hand has slightly upgraded specifications. It has 5.5-Inch Display with 1080p resolution and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and houses fingerprint sensor that unlocks phone in just 0.75 seconds.
The smartphone is equipped with 16MP main shooter with hybrid focus (Laser AF + PDAF). It has 1.3um f/2.0 aperture, Omnivision PureCell sensor and comes with Processional mode allow you to have settings similar to SLR. Users can change shutter speed, ISO settings, White balance, Contrast etc. Phone also supports Auto HDR, panorama and enables one to take multiple shot. It has 5 white balance pre-sets which users can choose according to conditions.
Inside is 1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4 (Octa Core) Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2GB RAM / 16GB storage and 3GB RAM / 32GB storage models, both with MicroSD card slot for further expansion. Its 3000 mAh battery supports Turbo charging. It is said to gives 6 hours battery life in 15 minutes of charging.
Connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack are also supported
The Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs. 13,499 ($200/€180) for 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM variant and Rs. 14,999 ($225/€200) for 3GB RAM / 32GB Storage model. Both the phone will sell in White and Black colour option. The The Moto G4 Plus will be available online exclusively on Amazon.in from today midnight, while the Moto Go will go on sale next month (pricing details were not revealed).
